Sunday Services

In-Person and Online Worship

Every Sunday at 9 am AND 11 AM

All worship services at Chapel Hill are founded on our desire to praise our living and loving God, centered through our progressive Wesleyan lens.

Our 9 am service is called “The Gathering,” and is rooted in our Anglican heritage and follows a more formal liturgy (The Lord’s Prayer, Confession & Pardon, Call to Worship, etc.) and is led by piano or organ and a choir or soloist.

Our 11 am service is called “The Journey,” and follows more of an emergent church format, with teaching, less formal liturgy, hands-on experiential worship, and the music is led by a band.

Both services are livestreamed each week. CLICK HERE to watch online.

Our Series for Eastertide:

“Sermon on the Mount”

April 7 – May 12

Focusing our attention on Jesus’ most extensive public message, we will consider the lessons of life found in the Gospel of Matthew, chapters 5-7, and be sent out more prepared for the kingdom/kindom of heaven living in a world very much opposed to that kingdom. Our guiding question for this series is, “How can Jesus’ countercultural and ancient teachings find, instruct, and convict us in 2024?”
